The restaurant is run by Chef Patron, Graham Neilson and wife, Gina. Graham and his chefs strive for perfection with every plate, whilst Gina and her team deliver smooth, knowledgeable and professional service front of house. Graham and Gina have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, having owned their own boutique restaurant in Durban, South Africa. Over the years they have won numerous awards including South Africa’s Best Bistro and Conde Nast Peoples Choice Award for South Africa’s favourite restaurant. With Graham and Gina’s passion and experience, historic Richmond is in for a treat.
Copperstone Restaurant features the finest produce of the Hawkesbury & the Blue Mountains as the chefs work closely with the best farmers and suppliers in Hawkesbury’s food bowl. The menu is constantly evolving and is inspired by a blend of our travels around the world before settling in the historical town of Richmond. Working with architectural draftsman, Graham Zerk and the team at VIBE property we have beautifully restored this circa 1860’s homestead overlooking Richmond Park. Conservation of this striking heritage building is a part of our ethos because it provides a sense of identity and continuity in the fast-changing world for future generations.
Copperstone will be open for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Dinners Wednesday through to Saturday.
Choose to sit in our cocktail courtyard garden, or inside our cosy art filled dining room. For special occasions book our private dining room, or secure the whole restaurant or courtyard for your function.
We are also open for cocktails and bar snacks on Friday and Saturday afternoons for those who want to end the week in style.
